Gary LaVere restored his first car — a 1957 Karmann Ghia — and never looked back. By the early '90s, LaVere's had restored and shipped roughly 2,000 vintage Volkswagens to collectors in Japan before opening its doors to the public.
Because Volkswagen and Audi share platforms, parts and diagnostics, extending that mastery to Audi was the natural next step. Today the emphasis is modern VW & Audi service — but the restoration bay still hums, and the standards haven't moved an inch.
